Collection: Supporting Morgan’s Warriors: Our Commitment to the MMIW Cause

At Medicine Bear Arts, we believe that art can be a vessel for truth, remembrance, and change. Our work is rooted in culture, resistance, and love for our people. With that spirit, we are proud to support Morgan’s Warriors an Indigenous women-led outreach organization based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

They work directly with families of the missing and murdered, providing front-line support, ceremony, and advocacy for justice.

A portion of all proceeds from our Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women jewelry collection will be donated to Morgan’s Warriors. https://morganswarriors.com/

This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a movement of remembrance and responsibility. Each piece in this collection is designed to spark conversation and carry forward the names and spirits of those who never came home. The designs hold story, honour, and strength and by wearing them, you are helping to carry that fire.

Why This Matters

The MMIW crisis is not just a tragedy it is the ongoing result of colonization, systemic racism, and centuries of policies designed to erase Indigenous presence, culture, and autonomy. This violence disproportionately impacts Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people across Turtle Island.

Our founder, Jadeon Rathgeber (Medicine Bear), is not untouched by this reality. Like too many of our relatives, he carries the weight of loss, and ongoing struggles. This offering is personal, and it is a continuation of the healing work that must be done inside our communities and across this land.
