Past Works

In 2014, Jadeon created a powerful piece titled Return of the White Raven for an art exhibit at the United Nations in Geneva. The work symbolizes the return of the sacred feminine to Mother Earth and carries the teaching that women must be restored to leadership roles, or humanity faces a downward spiral with no return.

Star Nation Connection
was created in the fall of 2014. This piece featured a spectacular blue, green, and purple ammolite specimen paired with obsidian beads. Jadeon greatly enjoyed making it and often wore it himself before it sold always a true show stopper.

Jadeon created this art piece after a woman working at the local RCMP station remarked, “Let’s not make any assumptions until we know what happened to those children in the unmarked graves at the Kamloops Residential School.” When he attempted to challenge stereotypes and educate settlers about the truth of what happened on Turtle Island, the local Facebook page blocked his comments. In response, he decided to create a large mural with the support of others, unveiling it on Canada Day in 2021. The mural remained up for three days, and to his surprise, it was never vandalized.

This collection of pieces was created by Jadeon in 2021 for reproduction. To demonstrate the fine detail of his work, he placed a dime beside them for scale, highlighting just how small he carves.

In 2020, Jadeon carved a beautiful pair of butterfly earrings with ammolite inlays and floral details. He created them in honor of his daughter.

In 2017, a photo was taken of Jadeon with his late grandmother, Lady of the Thunderbirds, and his daughter, Desiree She Dances with the Butterflies. Beside them is the carving titled Grandmother Bear’s Compassion, which Jadeon created from red cedar for a law firm in Saskatoon.

One of Jadeon’s all-time favorite pieces is Keeper of the House of Eagles, which he created in 2009 with his late friend Valoydia. Its final resting place was the Kamloops Residential School, and it was a great honor for him to have the piece installed there. The carving was made in memory of his late sister, carrying her Indian name, and was crafted from red cedar with inlays of abalone, copper, and silver.

This bentwood-style box, made from alder and representing a beaver, was created by Jadeon around 2009. While incarcerated, he taught himself alongside guidance from others in the woodworking shop how to craft these boxes. He was fortunate to be given work carving pieces for dignitaries and elders, an experience that helped him turn his life around.

This is a unique abstract bear design bracelet that Jadeon created in silver in 2014.

In 2009, Jadeon collaborated with his mother and his friend Valoydia on this spectacular owl piece. His mother contributed her birch bark biting with a four-owl design, Valoydia completed the metal work, and Jadeon carved an alder box to house the artwork. It remains one of his most beautiful creations an owl he often wishes he had never sold.

In 2014, Jadeon created a spectacular piece titled Entering the Clan of the Sea Serpent. It featured 480 carats of Number 8 turquoise one of the rarest varieties in the world along with Russian trade beads. It remains a piece he deeply wishes he had never had to sell.
