Bearer of Truth – Sterling Silver Earrings

These earrings are titled Bearer of Truth, a name that came from a simple mistake — a misspelling of “Bear” — that revealed a deeper teaching. As Medicine Bear, I walk the path of truth, and this piece embodies that commitment. Just as the bear carries medicine, I carry truth — with purpose, humility, and the strength to speak what needs to be spoken.

In the Seven Grandfather Teachings, the turtle represents truth — slow, grounded, and unwavering. This design brings together the teachings of both the bear and the turtle, reminding the wearer to move through the world with clarity, patience, and integrity.

The original design was hand-carved in wax and then cast using the lost wax casting method, preserving fine detail and symbolic intention. Each earring is cast in solid .925 sterling silver and fitted with heavy-gauge sterling silver ear hooks for comfort and durability. The back of each piece is engraved with the title Bearer of Truth, my artist signature, and the .925 hallmark — a mark of authenticity, story, and spirit.
