Passing a Prayer – Sterling Silver Solid Ring
Eagle. Thunderbird. A Prayer in Flight.
This ring, Passing a Prayer, represents a sacred moment in the spirit world — the act of offering. In our traditions, we ask the Eagle to carry our prayers and pass them to the Thunderbird, who then delivers them to the Creator. It’s a powerful spiritual exchange, one built on faith, intention, and connection to something greater than ourselves.
In this design, the Eagle is depicted offering a semi-precious stone — the physical representation of a prayer — to the Thunderbird. The stone is not just ornamental; it holds meaning. It is the vessel, the prayer itself, captured in flight. This ring serves as a reminder that our words, actions, and intentions carry weight — and that the spirit world listens when we offer them with truth and humility.
The original was hand-carved in the style of the Pacific Northwest Coast, a tradition I was honored to learn through years of guidance and mentorship from master artists. Their influence is reflected in the form, balance, and story woven into this piece. I carry their teachings with respect and gratitude.
Crafted in .925 sterling silver using the lost wax casting method, this is a solid band ring, available in sizes 5 to 11. Inside the band, you’ll find the inscription “Passing a Prayer”, along with the 925 hallmark and my artist initials, ensuring authenticity and intention.
Each piece comes in a gift box, prepared to serve as a personal ceremonial object or meaningful gift.
